IntraCrop gears up with plant biostimulant for a busy 2023

IntraCrop has pre-empted demand for its plant biostimulant and adjuvant products for Spring 2023 through the advanced purchase of raw materials and formulation of finished products.

Neal Sanders, operations manager for IntraCrop, wants to be able to guarantee supply for any customers who place their orders before Christmas. “Because of ongoing uncertainties in the supply chain, especially regarding the availability of urea, we are gearing up for next Spring now,” he explains. “Our pre-Christmas production will significantly exceed previous years, and we have doubled our warehouse capacity too.”

Why to order your plant biostimulant early

With raw material prices rising steeply, the company recommends early orders on plant biostiumalnt, particularly for its flagship Nutrino Pro, Status and Talisman products. “We are encouraging customers to place their orders now to protect themselves against future price increases,” said Mr Sanders. “The success of Nutrino Pro as a replacement for a percentage of ammonium nitrate fertiliser applications means we are expecting demand to increase significantly. Fertiliser production will continue to be restricted in Europe whilst gas availability is unpredictable, so farmers are looking for ways to reduce their reliance on nitrogen fertiliser without compromising yield.”

This season’s nutrient use efficiency trials have shown that utilising the Yieldbuilder strategy of sequencing biostimulants, including Nutrino Pro, enables farmers to reduce early-season nitrogen applications. Full trial results will be published shortly.
