How does Tempest work?

Tempest reduces the negative effects of Ca++ and Mg++ cations present in hard water and buffers the pH to the optimum 5.5 for many plant protection products (PPP). Many pH buffers based on citric acid over acidify the spray solution reducing active ingredient halflife and efficacy. The anti-foam in the formulation improves speed and ease of sprayer filling

How much Tempest do I need to use?

Even at 0.1% (100ml /100 litres) Tempest is effective at reducing droplet surface tension. This ensures spray droplets are successfully deposited, not reflected or “bounced” from the intended target on impact. Droplet coverage over the target is also increased improving coverage, this is especially important on waxy or hairy surfaces.
