IntraCrop will yet again be a cornerstone of this year’s Biostimulants World Congress. For 2026 the event will take place in Sacramento, USA. The team will be there to share new research into our flagship biostimulant technologies, MTU® and TFU®.
New data will be presented under the scientific track of the congress by Jaroslav Nisler, Head of Isotope Laboratory Organisation at the Institute of Experimental Botany, Czech Academy of Sciences, who helped to develop MTU ® on behalf of IntraCrop. His talk, ‘Photosystem I stabilization by MTU® decouples yield from nitrogen inputs at continental scale’, will explore new findings on the role of MTU® in supporting photosynthetic performance, crop productivity, resilience and nitrogen use efficiency.
The research being presented draws on more than 150 field trials carried out between 2019 and 2025 across Europe, North America and Morocco, in which MTU® was trialled through use of IntraCrop’s leading biostimulant product, Status®, in which MTU® is paired with Pidolic Acid.
The work investigates Photosystem I (PSI) stabilisation as a physiological mechanism for improving crop performance. Across trials, MTU® has been analysed for its impact on nitrogen optimisation as well as being tested under a range of environmental and crop stresses, helping to build an increasingly detailed understanding of its mode of action and its potential for sustainable agriculture.
Jaroslav previously presented research into the molecule at the Biostimulants World Congress in 2023 and 2025, discussing its effects on stress tolerance and nitrogen use efficiency. Since then, IntraCrop has continued to expand its trials globally, working with universities, research institutes and independent scientists to develop and replicate trial results of all of its plant biostimulant technologies through laboratory, glasshouse and multi-location field trials.

IntraCrop’s involvement in the Biostimulant World Congress is significant and extends beyond presenting its own data. The European Biostimulants Industry Council (EBIC) is an official partner of the Biostimulants World Congress, and members of the IntraCrop team continue to play active roles within the organisation.
Mark Palmer serves as Co-Chair of EBIC’s Mid-Term Strategy Steering Group, supporting work to harmonise and expand the biostimulants market and improve understanding of biostimulant technologies. Operations Manager Neal Sanders has a long-standing role as co-leader of the Phosphites Project Team, while Technical Officer Emily Way contributes to EBIC’s Agronomy Project Team.
Through these roles, IntraCrop contributes scientific evidence, technical expertise and industry experience to work designed to support appropriate regulation, market development and greater understanding of plant biostimulants.

The Biostimulants World Congress 2026 takes place at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, USA, from 1–3 December, with pre-conference workshops taking place on 30 November.
