Inferno softens hard water by effective and rapid sequestration of Ca2+ and Mg2+. These hard water cations are bound and rendered unavailable in a soluble form.
Independent studies conducted by Silsoe Spray Applications Unit have demonstrated that the inclusion
of 1% Inferno can reduce the amount of spray drift by up to 75%. This achieved by using polyacrylamide polymers that reduce the number of fine spray droplets (<100 microns) that are most prone to drift, from 19.49% to 9.49% resulting increasing the Volume Median Diameter (VMD).
Inferno contains an effective anti-foam to increase efficiency during sprayer filling. Droplets are more evenly deposited on the target surface improving and coverage and spray retention and rainfastness increased.
Anti-foam adjuvants reduce the formation of foam forming when spray agents are mixed together. Reducing foam will significantly improve control at application and stabilises the formulation.
