Nishka Kapoor joins EBIC Project Team Communications
IntraCrop has reiterated how committed its team are to the biostimulants industry, with Nishka Kapoor joining the Project Team Communications (PT Comms) of the European Biostimulants Industry Council following the latest Expert’s Forum.
This appointment is in addition to IntraCrop team members involvement across several other EBIC Project Teams; Neal Sanders is Co-Leader of PT Phosphites, Emily Way is a member of PT Agronomy and Mark Palmer is Co-Chair of the Mid-Term Strategy Steering Group. This shows its intention to advance both the science behind and regulation of plant biostimulants, helping to shape the future of the biostimulants sector.
The annual EBIC Expert’s Forum brings together industry leaders to align on key priorities and challenges facing the sector. It also provides opportunity for members to collaborate with EBIC’s Project Teams.
Discussions this year focused on:
- ongoing regulatory developments under the EU Fertilising Products Regulation (FPR)
- strengthening collaboration across Project Teams
- increasing awareness of biostimulants in addressing sustainability, soil health and food security
For IntraCrop, continued involvement with EBIC and the wider industry means the company will remain actively engaged in shaping the industry’s future.
Nishka appointment to PT Communications is a result of the sector acknowledging that there is an increasing importance for clear, consistent messaging about products and their mode of action so that they become more accessible to growers.
The PT Comms group plays a key role in communicating the value of biostimulants to stakeholders, supporting industry advocacy and ensuring alignment between scientific evidence and industry messaging.

Clear, evidence-led communication is essential in helping the industry grow and ensuring that the value of biostimulants is understood across the supply chain. It’s an exciting opportunity to contribute to how we present both the science and the role these technologies can play in supporting more sustainable agriculture.”
This year’s Expert’s Forum also showcased the evolving direction of the industry, with approximately 50% female representation in the room. This reflects the increasing number of women working across science-led and technical roles in the biostimulant development. Nishka’s new role, alongside Emily Way’s continued involvement in PT Agronomy, shows that IntraCrop is leading the way in ensuring more women are contributing to a more innovative future.
“It was so encouraging to see such strong female representation at the Forum,” Nishka added. “It highlights the breadth of opportunity within STEM and agriculture and the impact that diverse perspectives can bring to the industry.”
As the industry continues to evolve, collaboration through organisations such as EBIC remains critical to ensuring that biostimulants can deliver on their potential to support more resilient and sustainable agriculture.
