IntraCrop introduces closed transfer system for growers

IntraCrop is the first supplier of biostimulants and adjuvants in the UK to use a closed transfer system (CTS) for IBCs, reducing the risk of contamination for growers.

The CTS has been developed by Wisdom Systems and allows users to decant product from an IBC into the sprayer safely and more quickly.  The system uses suction from the sprayer to draw product from the IBC directly into the venturi, where it is diluted before filling the spray tank. This reduces the potential for point source contamination during the filling process. The time saved in tank filling will allow the application of an additional two tanksful per day, making this a cost-effective option for growers.

After use, each IBC will be collected, inspected and refilled with the same product, significantly reducing the volume of plastic waste produced on farm.
